Senator Dick Durbin Speaks in Lake Forest

On Sunday January 26, 2020, the senior senator from Illinois, the honorable Dick Durbin attended a fund raiser hosted by Devon and Yvonne Bruce of Lake Forest.

Senator Durbin flew in during the middle of the impeachment trail, and gave those in attendance a inside view of the proceedings in Washington. It was a fascinating look at this historical event.

The senator also highlighted some of the key senate contests in the 2020 election.

John Idleburg, newly elected Lake County Sheriff and Sara Knizhnik, organizer Illinois Gun Violence Prevention Coalition, discussed issues and answered questions related to ongoing prevention efforts in Illinois.
