Hour of Action – Get Out the Vote 2020!
Please join Indivisible, Rise-up and your Democratic neighbors by participating in the ongoing postcard writing campaign this fall.
Postcards will be mailed to Wisconsin or other swing states encouraging voter participation. Some postcards may be sent to Illinois voters in support of Democratic candidates.
Email Cindy Broten at cindybroten@me.com to arrange to pick up postcards and instructions.
Leave them out on your kitchen counter and write a few each day or host your friends for a social distance postcard writing party. It’s an easy and fun way to make a difference in this important election.

Gun Violence Prevention
Lake Forest Lake Bluff Democrats held an “Hour of Action” event on Gun Violence Prevention
On Sunday, April 28, at the Gorton Community Center, our Guest Speakers
John Idleburg, newly elected Lake County Sheriff and Sara Knizhnik, organizer Illinois Gun Violence Prevention Coalition, discussed issues and answered questions related to ongoing prevention efforts in Illinois.
